About the role

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by greeting guests, assisting with valet parking, and safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely manner. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming first and last impression for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel positively.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating guest vehicles.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of customer service experience with significant guest interaction preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver's license with a clean driving record and no moving violations for at least six (6) months.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented personality.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods throughout an entire shift.
• Strong work ethic with a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
