About the role

Buyten Haven is a small-scale residential care facility located in the former Rustenburg farmhouse in Dordrecht, offering 18 apartments for elderly care. As Team Leader, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the entire location, including care management, resident well-being, staff supervision, facility matters, procurement, and other operational areas. You will need a helicopter view to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the care facility.
• Oversee general care, resident well-being, and staff performance.
• Handle facility management, procurement, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a strategic overview to distinguish priorities and delegate tasks appropriately.

Requirements

• Completed education in Nursing (Verpleegkunde) or Caregiver-IG (Verzorgende IG).
• Leadership experience.
• Relevant experience in elderly care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, perseverance, and the ability to handle feedback.
