Betac offers general accounting services and specialized expertise, including bookkeeping, financial statements, business valuations, and startup advisory. Founded over 25 years ago, our office is located near the shopping center of Velserbroek (close to Haarlem). We are an ambitious organization that values professional development in a pleasant and informal atmosphere. Our team currently consists of 12 employees working collaboratively on the same floor.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join our team for 24-40 hours per week. In this role, you will work closely with our accountants, gaining significant responsibility and the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience. You will serve a diverse client base, including both national and international companies, as well as startups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (year-end accounts);
• Process and optimize financial administrations;
• Create interim financial reports;
• Handle tax filings.

Requirements

• Minimum HBO diploma in accountancy, finance, or MBA;
• 1-4 years of experience in a similar role is preferred;
• Experience with accounting software such as Exact Online, King Software (Bjorn Lunden), or Zenvoices is a plus;
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel);
• Fluent in Dutch, both written and verbal;
• Reside in or near Velserbroek.
