About the role
The Accountant Bookkeeper will maintain a designated database, billing, and accounts receivables, as well as perform basic administrative duties for the Accounting Team. This is a part-time, full-time equivalent position working 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Research and resolve discrepancies/disputes in accounts payable and/or accounts receivables.
- Prepare and submit required reports for assigned sites.
- Prepare vendor maintenance forms and/or required billings.
- Prepare worksheets monthly.
- Maintain designated database, including reviewing, coding, and entering data.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individuals in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years specialized financial training or equivalent experience required.
- Three (3) years bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to focus on details required.
- Experience using Evolv database preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and comprehensibly, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and experience with PCs/computers, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
