Vacancy for the Post of Project Manager
The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is recruiting for two Research Fellow positions to work on a project for the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" with NITI AAYOG. The position is initially for six months, renewal subject to performance and fund availability.
About the role
Research Fellows will contribute to the development and analysis of macroeconomic models focusing on the impact of oil price shocks on the Indian economy. They will collaborate with a team of economists and policy analysts at NITI AAYOG.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic models and their applications to oil price shocks.
- Collaborate with NITI AAYOG staff to refine and validate model outputs.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform policy recommendations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for dissemination to stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics or a related field with a strong background in econometrics and economic modeling.
- Experience in macroeconomic modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
