About the role
The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team at i3 supports DoD customers in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms. The team is seeking an experienced Software Release Manager to support the team in organizing and executing software releases across a wide variety of interconnected projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage software releases
- Work closely with Government Project Leadership and Agile software development teams
- Organize and track software releases in support of testing and fielding schedules
- Work with multiple vendor organizations
- Ensure successful testing, validation, and deployment to the field
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Extensive experience with scheduling using MS Project
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence,…)
- Strong customer facing background

Benefits
- Regular i3 hours are 800 a.m. - 500 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion.
- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
