UX/UI Designer III

Remote position – 1-year contract (ongoing) with the possibility of transitioning from 20 to 40 hours per week based on business needs.

About the role

We are seeking a Digital-First UX/UI Designer with strong interactive design experience and a background in an advertising agency environment. The ideal candidate will create modern, engaging digital experiences across multiple platforms, with a focus on visual design and UI execution.

Responsibilities

• Design digital experiences across various platforms including:
  • Emails
  • Web banners
  • Websites
  • Social media content
  • Occasional mobile applications
• Create responsive layouts that adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Apply modern design patterns and UI best practices.
• Develop intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Build prototypes and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Stay up to date with current digital design trends and emerging technologies.
• Present portfolio examples and explain design decisions and project contributions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years working within an advertising agency or creative agency environment (required).
• Strong proficiency with Figma (primary design tool).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including:
  • Adobe XD
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
• Strong understanding of:
  • Responsive design principles
  • UX/UI best practices
  • Digital design standards
  • Modern interface patterns
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work (website portfolio preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or healthcare clients.
• Experience creating clickable prototypes.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Motion graphics or animation experience.
• Strong understanding of clean, modern, minimal design aesthetics.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.

Pay

$46+/hr depending on experience.
