UX/UI Designer
About The Role
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centric digital interfaces that support the operation, monitoring, and management of our robotic systems. Your work will involve translating complex technical workflows into elegant and efficient user interfaces, ensuring ease of use for operators and stakeholders. Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers, you will help develop industry-leading user experiences for robot operator tools, dashboards, and various applications including mobile, web, and VR platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web or software applications.
- Experience designing complex systems, dashboards, or technical tools for enterprise software.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for robotic and web-based user interfaces, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets for development implementation.
- Enhance the UX/UI of features developed by engineering teams to improve usability and user satisfaction.
- Design industry-leading interfaces for robot operator tools, dashboards, and applications across mobile, web, and VR platforms.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business objectives.
- Assist in conducting user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on user feedback and data insights.
- Create clear, intuitive visualizations for real-time data, robot status, and system controls to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Stay current with the latest UX/UI design practices, tools, and emerging trends to continually enhance design quality.
