UX/UI Designer

Core Responsibilities

• Help manage the full design process, from initial concepts to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect mockups for mobile and web apps.
• Adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for App Store iOS development, focusing on flat design, clean aesthetics, and fluid animations.
• Follow Material Design guidelines for Android development, emphasizing elevation, motion, and responsiveness across various screen sizes.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing detailed specifications and assets.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify pain points and validate new features such as chat, feeds, and posting mechanisms.
• Adjust visual elements including icons, button states, color palettes, and typography to align with the brand’s identity.
• Analyze in-app user data and feedback to iterate quickly on design improvements to enhance retention and engagement.
• Optimize how content is displayed and consumed to increase time spent on the app.
• Create delightful and engaging interactions for actions like liking, sharing, or commenting.
• Design seamless, engaging, and fast sign-up and onboarding processes to maximize new user acquisition.
• Ensure the platform is accessible to all users through accessibility and inclusivity considerations.
• Create and maintain a library of UI components to ensure consistency across the product as it scales.

Compensation

Equity on a vesting schedule and salary upon successful raise of capital. The opportunity will be part-time before venture capital.
