About the role
This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to work remotely while partnering with cross-functional teams to uncover user needs, evaluate product concepts, and guide better design decisions. The role combines hands-on research execution with insight storytelling to help shape customer-facing and employee experiences across multiple business areas.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out user research initiatives using a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches to inform product and experience decisions.
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify research goals and translate open questions into actionable studies.
- Support and independently drive research for AI-enabled experiences, customer support workflows, marketing-related journeys, and internal employee tools.
- Synthesize findings from interviews, surveys, behavioral data, and usability evaluations into clear themes, insights, and practical recommendations.
- Work closely with analytics and data teams to connect user feedback with measurable trends and broader business context.
- Present research outcomes to cross-functional audiences in a concise and persuasive manner that builds alignment and confidence.
- Contribute to product strategy by highlighting user pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for improved end-to-end experiences.
- Promote user-centered practices and research best standards across teams to strengthen the overall design and product development culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced education is a plus.
- At least 6 years of experience conducting UX research with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Demonstrated background working in Agile, Lean UX, or similarly iterative product environments.
- Experience researching AI-based or agentic AI experiences, including concept evaluation, interaction assessment, or competitive review.
- Strong ability to communicate insights through written summaries, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and working with a high level of independence.
- Ability to influence decision-making by advocating for research-driven thinking across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with complex B2B SaaS products or large matrixed organizations is preferred.
