UX Designer IV

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled UX Designer IV to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 12 months Pay Rate: Starting form $76 per hour Location: Portland, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with designers to craft seamless digital customer experiencesWrite clear, accurate and compelling user interface copyCollaborate with project partners and Experience Strategy team to determine the business objectives that drive content strategyMake recommendations on user requirements for projects and contribute to project scope and planningObtain competitive experience evaluations and customer data and establish benchmarks for contentContribute to content creation governance and workflow as well as style, tone and voice guidelines, including recommendations around brand visionPresent content concepts in collaboration with designersWrite and design in accordance with design systemContribute to the development of the team’s culture and quality standardsManage and administer design projectsCoordinate copy translation Experience & Qualification Requirements:Degree in a writing or design required5-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in product design or creation of digital experiencesExpert writing, editing and proofreading skills, with experience writing for online required, kiosk, Voice and audio User Interface writingExperience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.) is a major plusUnderstanding of interactive design and usability principles and how content strategy and creation contributes to the user experienceA passion for great experience designProficiency in adapting processes to meet project needsWillingness to collaborateSelf-motivated, flexible, organized, and accountableGood understanding of user-centered design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design)Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX writing abilitiesSeasoned writerFamiliarity with Figma/Figjam and Confluence/JiraContent strategyKnowledge of online marketing, advertising and other interactive experiencesUX ExperiencePlain language expertiseStrong writing and editing skillsBanking Experience is a plusHow to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
