UI/UX - UX Designer IV
About the role
A senior Product Designer is sought to join a small, fast-moving team of AI builders shipping production-grade internal tools for our content organization. This role will be the sole designer across multiple product surfaces, including dashboards, workflow automation tools, CRM systems, and AI-powered reporting. The objective is to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience while building these tools from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process, from research and interaction to visual design and shipped UI, across 4-6 internal product surfaces.
- Establish and maintain a lightweight design system to ensure consistency across all team surfaces.
- Design interaction patterns for AI-native workflows such as agent supervision, automated triage, intelligent recommendations, and real-time reporting.
- Collaborate directly with senior engineers in a pod-based model, focusing on fast iteration with minimal process overhead.
- Simplify complex, multi-source data views into single-screen experiences that eliminate context-switching.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with internal stakeholders.
- Engage in rapid prototyping and iteration on new tool concepts.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience designing complex internal tools, enterprise SaaS, or developer platforms is required. A portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex workflows is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Candidates must possess strong interaction design and information architecture skills. A self-directed work style and the proven ability to operate as the sole designer on an engineering-heavy team are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience designing for AI/ML-powered features or agentic systems.
- Expertise in building and maintaining shared component libraries and design systems.
- AI development skills with the ability to implement designs directly.
