Position Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and user insights into intuitive, user-centered design solutions across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Assist in user research activities, including persona development, heuristic evaluations, usability reviews, and competitive analysis, to inform design decisions.
- Create and iterate on UX deliverables such as user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes (low/high fidelity), and information architecture.
- Extend and apply the design system using reusable components, icon libraries, templates, and brand standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product managers, developers, content strategists, and UX leads-to align on goals, constraints, and implementation strategies.
- Communicate design rationale clearly in design reviews and stakeholder presentations, advocating for user needs and business impact.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and workflows, providing design assets, specifications, and feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support usability testing and review behavioral analytics to validate and optimize design performance.
- Manage time effectively by estimating effort, planning schedules, and prioritizing tasks within sprint cycles.
- Use general-purpose LLM tools to analyze and synthesize user behavior, identify patterns, and prioritize opportunities.
- Use AI to accelerate discovery, experimentation, development, and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field and 2 years' experience in a related field. Alternatively, a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with prototyping tools and AI-assisted design workflows.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design decisions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches.
- Familiarity with text-to-prototype tools.
- Experience creating AI products or strong knowledge of AI and agentic design practices, such as model limitations, guardrails, evals, and feedback loops.
Additional Information Regarding The Position
- Reports to UX Manager or Product Design Lead.
- May require occasional travel.
- USD 98,300.00 - 147,500.00 per year compensation, including a base salary in the range of $98,300.00 - $147,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
