UX Designer II

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more startup than big company.
• Collaborate with product, research, software, operations, and business teams to create experiences with a direct impact to customers.
• Collaborate closely with other design disciplines including industrial design, store design, and UX in partner teams.
• Meet with customers, observing behavior, sharing ideas, or running usability evaluations.
• Synthesize insights into new ideas that may influence larger new strategies, or incremental improvements to our products.
• Work with product and engineering teams to align on feasibility and viability, advocating for what best meets user needs.
• Build mockups, prototypes, or prepare finalized designs for engineering teams.

Basic qualifications

• 4+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with UX design of complex workflows
• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
• Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity

Pay

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $45/hour - $52/hour.
