About the role
Charlotte, NC - Onsite Full-time. Must have expertise as a UX/UI Designer with strong Figma skills to create intuitive, user‑centric, and visually appealing digital experiences. Candidates will have experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Human‑Centered Design.
- Design user‑centric experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and translate findings into design improvements.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
- Ensure responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability best practices.
- Work closely with development teams for smooth design‑to‑development handoff.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
Requirements
Strong expertise in UX research methodologies and design best practices; experience planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research activities.
Skills
- Proficiency creating user flows, process workflows, customer journey maps, information architecture maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Hands‑on experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, user validation sessions, research synthesis, and insights generation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise design systems and component‑based design approaches; ability to define and maintain design standards, accessibility guidelines, and UX governance.
- Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.
- Proactive, result‑oriented leader with mentoring and team‑building abilities; strong communication, collaboration skills, and aptitude for quickly grasping new technical concepts.
