UX Designer

About the role

The role is responsible for coordinating and executing usability research, creating intuitive solutions, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to generate new product strategies and innovative concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive web and software application experiences to meet business and client needs.
• Work in collaboration with project managers, product/business analysts, UX/UI designers, Front-End Developers, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate design sprints.
• Perform and present findings.
• Draft and outline Personas (and their touch-points) from target-market research.
• Conduct benchmarking on UX trends and long-term product goals.
• Create comprehensive journey maps and user workflows while identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement.
• Create low and high-fidelity wireframes to communicate product functions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, or Graphic Design.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of user experience principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other tools like, Axure, Invision and PowerPoint.
• Knowledgeable in wire-framing tools, storyboards, user flows, and site mapping.
• Ability to defend design decisions with solid rationales based on UX principles, user research, and product knowledge.

Pay

This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $84,800-$111,300 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
