Utility Worker IV Wastewater Collection (2 positions)

About the role

The Utility Worker IV Wastewater Collection position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to wastewater collection operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater collection equipment and vehicles.
• Inspect and repair wastewater collection systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Collect and transport wastewater from various sources to treatment facilities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• At least 3 years of experience in wastewater collection or related field.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Strong physical fitness and stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of wastewater collection procedures and safety practices.

Pay
