About the role

The City of Bloomington is seeking an individual with at least four years of experience being employed full‑time as an Electrician or Electrician Helper installing and altering electrical wiring and apparatus for a licensed electrical contractor or the City, with at least two of those years of experience just prior to the time of application. Employees in this focus must be 18 years of age. This is a highly skilled level position performing work in the construction, remodel and maintenance of city facilities, parks, structures and equipment on a varying assignment basis. Work involves responsibility for performing highly skilled maintenance work independently or with general oversight of others in or on city facilities, parks, structures and equipment. Assignments emphasize performance of semi‑skilled and highly skilled
