About the role
Join our team as a Utility Worker/Dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation for our high-end resident dining experience. Under the leadership of our Executive Chef, you will be part of a team that delights residents with taste and timely delivery of delicious food in a clean, upscale setting. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including daily floor cleaning and buffing in the kitchen
- Execute dishwashing procedures and the "3 sink" pot & dish washing procedure
- Work with cleaning chemicals safely
- Assist in food preparation as directed
- Process and store incoming orders of food and supplies according to departmental policies and FIFO (First In, First Out) stocking practices
- Adhere to all sanitation, food handling, and safety policies of The Pines at Davidson and regulatory authorities
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and team member information
- Ensure proper personal appearance and hygiene according to established procedures
- Maintain food preparation and storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times
Requirements
- Experience as a dishwasher preferred, but not required
- Able to use chemicals safely
- Able to work flexible hours
- Able to work well with others
- Understanding of FIFO (First In, First Out) stocking practices
- Able to lift 50 pounds
