Utility Worker
About the role
MBI Energy is seeking a Utility Worker at the Cliffside Steam Station in Mooresboro, NC. This is a long-term, local hire position without per diem or relocation payments. Responsibilities include daily building and area upkeep, meeting established cleaning standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings
- Follow established safe work practices
- Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly
- Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary
- Lift fifty pounds overhead
Qualifications
- Pass drug test
- Pass security background check
- Be respirator fit

Pay and Benefits
The base salary range for this position, based on experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $15/hour to $16/hour. Most positions also qualify for additional benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and paid vacation.
