Utility Worker

Duties

• Installation, maintenance, repair, relocation, retirement, testing and operations of the water distribution system and related structures.
• Grounds operation, meter reading and customer service work, as well as maintenance of production and treatment facilities.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CDL preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form, and have legible handwriting.
• Must demonstrate the proper regard for the use of time and equipment, and an awareness of the responsibility to safeguard the water supply and prevent pollution of area surface water.
• Must have demonstrated computer skills.
• Must be available for reasonable overtime work and be available for emergency on call duty when necessary to provide service to the public.

Pay

• Compensation Type: Hourly Wage
• Compensation Range: Grade 2 - Hourly $ 19.66 - 31.44

Schedule

• Available for reasonable overtime work.
• Available for emergency on call duty when necessary to provide service to the public.
