AdviniaCare Naples Location: Naples, Florida Job Type: PART_TIME_AND_FULL_TIME Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team at AdviniaCare Naples. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the food and beverage department, including dishwashing, trash control, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Essential Functions: Performs dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room areaAssists in ordering and storage of food and non-food productsSets up and maintains the pot and dish washing areaDistributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensilsCleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and proceduresEmpties trash containers as requiredAssists in the preparation of food as directed by supervisorNotifies Director of Food and Beverage or any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances Non-Essential Functions: Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values through servant leadershipMust possess a passion to work with and around senior citizensAttends required community meetings and participates in Life Enrichment activities when ableCompletes all required courses in adherence with AdviniaCare CommunitiesIs prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basisBecomes familiar and understands how to report a missing person using the Safe Return program or equivalentBecomes familiar and understands the steps for fire evacuation Physical Demands: This position requires time spent lifting weight or exerting force in the following manner:Up to 10 pounds: IUp to 25 pounds: IUp to 50 pounds: IMore than 100 pounds: X Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent interruptions and changing prioritiesThe ability to work in a safe and alert mannerThe ability to take ownership for associate's safety and the safety of the residents Education and Experience: High school educationExperience in cooking for large groups a plusKnowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations preferredKnowledge of OSHA standards and fire and safety procedures Disclaimer: I have read my Job Description and understand the information provided.
