Utility Worker

Duties And Responsibilities

• Accurately completes equipment inspection, work order, and other forms as required in a timely manner.
• Repair, replace and test machinery, components and systems related by performing mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic activities.
• Perform standard maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical, and electro-pneumatic.
• Inspection and cleaning, including servicing restrooms as required.
• Be skilled in the use of all related hand tools such as pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic, and measuring instruments.
• Clean and maintain the work area, tools and equipment.
• Maintain qualifications to support service or maintenance in the shop and yard.
• Participate in and successfully complete required on-going training including periodic written, oral and hands-on testing.

Requirements

The Utility worker must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

The Utility worker must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
