What you will do
- Perform general maintenance tasks in support of the component repair process
- Include tasks such as cleaning, painting, and sanding
- Do so in accordance with applicable manuals and internal processes and policies
What you need
- 1 year experience in any industry utilizing basic mechanical skills
- Ability to effectively speak, read, and write in the English language
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to work at a height of 50 feet
- Ability to wear respirator and safety gear associated with painting and to work with cleaning chemicals
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior work experience with aircraft operations in any capacity preferred
- Airframe License preferred
- 1 year experience in any industry utilizing basic mechanical skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced industrious environment against deadlines
- Able to provide own tools as required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl & climb and sustain those positions for an extended period of time
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
- Ability to work with arms raised above head and perform repetitive tasks and motions
- Ability to fit in tight places
- Ability to work in confined spaces with respiratory equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situation
