Utility Tech

About the role

The Utility Technician performs routine maintenance activities in a variety of work environments, conducting preventative maintenance to increase effectiveness and reduce the need for major repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work area and comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at-risk behavior of others and self; follow posted safety standards and wear personal protective equipment when necessary
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools, or replace broken components on production machines
• Inspect work processes to ensure all projects are completed correctly
• Take direction, respond to supervision, and perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Utilize Boom Lift/Highlift for tasks including:
  • High-rise window cleaning
  • High-rise dusting
  • Cleaning of stainless steel and frames utilizing light cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR
• May be required to have forklift certification
• Completed all safety and task training certifications

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay

$20.85–$21.85 per hour
