Utility Steward/Dishwasher
About the role
We are an award-winning employer seeking a Utility Steward (Dishwasher) to play an essential role in the daily operations of our kitchen within a luxury senior living residence. This is an important support position that goes beyond dishwashing and helps keep our culinary team running smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen, equipment supplies, pots/pans, small wares, china glass and silver according to established safety standards and regulations
- Cleans kitchen floors, following standard procedures
- Applies knowledge and safe use and storage of chemicals and equipment
- Maintains and records data on required logs per Mather policies and procedures
- Completes daily and weekly cleaning assignments per task lists
- Regularly empties trash containers shift, cleans garbage cans and properly operates compactor
- Minimizes loss and breakage through proper use, cleaning and storage of equipment and supplies

Pay
The hourly base wage range is a good faith estimate of the range Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly base wage paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, geographic location and market changes. The position is also eligible to participate in Mather benefit plans and Employee Appreciation Fund.
Schedule
This position is full-time, flexible days, 12:00pm-8:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm shift. Weekend, and holiday availability required.
