About the role

Assists in the Student Union cafeteria to provide meals to students, employees and public; and provide catering services for on and off campus functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals to students, employees and public in the cafeteria.
• Provide catering services for on and off campus events.
• Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Perform general cleaning duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
• Previous experience working in the food industry.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if driving a personal or university vehicle for university business.
• Maintain a Food Handler’s permit if required.

• The ability to read and comprehend both written and verbal instructions.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multi-task and assist in any area necessary.
• Able to resolve problems.

Pay

Hiring Range: $12.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule

Variable, Sunday - Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm.
