Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform daily site inspections to verify work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor installation activities (civil, mechanical, and electrical) to ensure compliance with applicable codes and best practices.
  • Identify quality issues and deficiencies; document findings and assist in implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and NCR logs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Afford compliance with OSHA, NEC, and other applicable regulations.
  • Participate in pre-installation meetings, walkthroughs, and punch list activities.
  • Support commissioning and turnover processes by verifying installation quality and completion of required documentation.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspectors as needed to support inspections and approvals.

Experience & Education

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction quality control, solar construction, or electrical construction required.
  • Experience working on utility-scale solar projects strongly preferred but not required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required (or equivalent field experience).
  • Basic knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and construction quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, field environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with construction/QAQC software tools is a plus.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30 or NABCEP (associate level) are a plus.
