About the role

Transmission Project Managers are responsible for managing planned and emergent capital construction projects within the Client Energy Carolinas geographic footprint. This role involves leading a project team consisting of design engineers, material procurement specialists, construction management and planning personnel, and all construction crews associated with the project.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate cost forecast and schedule during the entire project lifecycle.
• Lead the project team to ensure that every milestone and deliverable is completed on time.
• Manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.
• Experience in utility industry.
• Knowledge in construction management.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
