Utility Plant Maint Mech II
Responsibilities
- Using precision alignment and measurement tools
- Performing rigging, lifting, welding, and fabrication work
- Document work activities in the maintenance management system
- Support outages, emergency repairs, and on-call needs
Requirements
- Minimum High school Diploma
- A minimum two (2) years’ work experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance; Plant - Facility Maintenance environment
Qualifications
This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis.
10-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.); Tuesday through Friday.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; will drive company vehicle
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
This position consists of 5% of outdoor work
Skills
Follow all safety requirements including LOTO and PPE
Benefits
Compensation: Hourly Range: $27.40- $36.53 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.

About the role
As our Utility Plant Maintenance Mechanic II at ENGIE, you can expect to play a hands-on role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, alignment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment and machinery. You will perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance, identify equipment failures and determine root causes, and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to complete work accurately and safely.
