Utility Person Harvest Zone 3

About the Role

The Utility Person is flexible and adaptable, able to assist where needed and respond to various operational needs across the fabrication floor. Duties may include knife work, saw operation, and communication with team members. Note: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive; employees may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform knife work on several jobs across the fabrication floor
• Operate saws safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Assist with various operational tasks as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (P.P.E)

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work in humid, cold, wet, or slippery surfaces at varied heights around moving equipment and parts while using P.P.E

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge of a manufacturing environment
• Previous knife experience in a manufacturing environment

• Attentive to detail
• Ability to work safely, wear P.P.E, and follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and consistent attendance
