Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections as requested to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs.
• Promptly address any identified maintenance needs or repairs, including fixing leaks, loose fittings, worn belts or driving components, and cleaning dust and debris from the equipment.
• Maintain clear communication channels between maintenance teams and Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer to allow for effective reporting of issues, coordination of maintenance activities, and timely resolution of problems.
• Develop a structured maintenance schedule to ensure equipment receives regular attention, which may involve planned maintenance activities such as cleaning, review of equipment, or removal from service.
• Ensure that safety measures are in place to protect both the maintenance personnel and the users of the laundry equipment, including implementing traffic control measures during maintenance operations, providing adequate PPE, and communicating any temporary disruptions or downtime to users.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to track maintenance history, identify recurring issues, and plan future maintenance initiatives.
