Utility Operator/Maintenance

About the role

The Utility Operator operates a variety of equipment and performs multiple job functions in support of production operations.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machines
• Conducts pre and post-trip inspections, identifying malfunctions and items in need of repair
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
• Assists in keeping the work area clean and organized
• Attends and participates in safety toolbox talks, and other employee meetings/events
• Reports near misses or other safety incidents or accidents promptly, and in accordance with proper procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience operating a haul truck, bobcat and forklift
• Experience in light maintenance to include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators

Qualifications

Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
