Utility Operator - Blytheville 1

About the Role

NIBCO, a leader in the flow control industry with a century-long manufacturing history, is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to support supervision in all distribution activities. This role promotes the company's vision and values by coordinating processes related to receiving, stocking, replenishment, order processing, repackaging, returns processing, and shipping/transportation.

Responsibilities

• Aids supervision in safe warehouse operations, overseeing receiving, storing, repackaging, and shipments of products.
• Directs day-to-day utilization of space, equipment, and personnel to support safety, customer service, order fill requirements, inventory accuracy, efficient operations, quality assurance, facility housekeeping, and financial goals.
• Maintains receiving processes for safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Unloads trucks and vans using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Checks incoming freight for accuracy and updates paperwork.
• Converts valves for Interline, Lowe’s, Menards, and international orders.
• Performs cycle counting as required.
• Maintains equipment according to established procedures.
• Trains associates to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Assists in scheduling and supervises as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience working in a Distribution Center.
• Experience safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Past supervisor experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
