Utility Operator

Description

The Utilities Specialist supports the mill through operation and maintenance of the boiler system, water treatment facility, and chiller systems. The role involves performing tasks as assigned, following safety and ISO procedures, conducting inspections, and operating industrial mobile equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience with operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment OR boilers and steam generating systems
• Must have safety conscious work habits
• Effective interpersonal and team skills
• Effective trouble-shooter with planning and execution skills
• Possess initiative, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate
• Capable of entering and working in a confined space

Pay

Starting rate is $40.30/hour; employees progress through pay range upon completion of training. Pay Range: $40.30/hour - $46.05/hour
