Responsibilities
- Barge Stripping Operations: Identify cargo, inspect barge, prepare for loading, connect/disconnect hoses, monitor transfers, perform gauging/sampling, use firefighting/spill containment equipment.
- Stripping Barge Maintenance: Inspect pumps, hoses, barge, rainwater, maintain tracking, use Acutum software.
- Nitrogen Equipment Management: Refill equipment, reinstall racks, oversee maintenance, track spare equipment, use Acutum software.
- Driving: Maintain vehicle eligibility, keep equipment clean, deliver crossover hoses, perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to manage tasks without daily supervision.
- Able to communicate with others.
- Knowledge and use of computer software: Outlook E-mail, Oasis, Excel, Acutum MMC with tank barge PIC endorsement.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Shipyard experience.
