Utility Operator

Makes general repairs to equipment, as required

Performs routine maintenance on equipment, as required

Welds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairs

Completes all required documentation of service work performed

Fills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are out

Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by Arcosa management

Ensures that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner

Other duties/responsibilities that may be assigned

What You'll Need

• 3+ years experience in crushing/aggregates or similar industry, required
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization
• Ability to read and understand basic reports and complete routine mathematics
• Working knowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork etc.)
• Working knowledge of various types of construction equipment and machines

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Standing for extended periods of time at conveyor belt operation
• Climbing heights of up to 75 feet on a regular basis
• Lifting, carrying, and/or pulling 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Working in dusty, loud noise environment

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $32.91 to $46.02 per hour. The pay rate offered will be determined by the applicant's experience, skills, and abilities.
