Utility Operator

Makes general repairs to equipment

Performs routine maintenance on equipment

Welds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairs

Completes all required documentation of service work performed

Fills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are out

Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by Arcosa management

Ensures that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner

What You'll Need

• Knowledge and understanding of aggregate recycling operations, preferred
• Understand what it takes for a customer-oriented business to be successful and what it takes to provide the products/services necessary to meet the customers’ needs on a timely basis
• Able to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
• Read and understand basic reports, and complete routine mathematics
• Knowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork etc.)
• Able to lift fifty (50) lbs. pounds with regularity and up to seventy-five (75) pounds in some cases

Complete understanding of the workings of equipment used by the company

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $36.44 to $44.67 per hour.
