About the role

The Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, is seeking a full-time Utility Operator to support production operations. This role operates in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to dust.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment such as panel saws and sanders.
  • Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines, as necessary.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
  • Absorb and perform routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational, or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.

Schedule

Shift: First (7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F)

Pay

$21 - $24 per hour based on experience
