About the role

ELM Utility Services is offering a great opportunity for a Utility Locate Technician in the Kirkland, Washington area. ELM Technicians ensure that gas, electric, and communication systems are dependable and well-maintained by performing high-quality utility marking to avoid damage during excavation.

Responsibilities

• Complete a route of locate requests each day
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers
• Use a mobile work system to receive daily tasks
• Work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check

Skills

• Proficiency with the LaunchPoint software system

Schedule

Working independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, with a potential need for on-call rotations and overtime, including nights and weekends.
