Utility Locate Technician - $24.50 - $32.00/hr - Everett, Washington

About the role

ELM Utility Services is offering a great opportunity for a Utility Locate Technician in the Everett, Washington area. ELM Technicians ensure that gas, electric, and communication systems are dependable and well-maintained by performing high-quality utility marking during excavation.

Responsibilities

• Complete a route of locate requests each day
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers
• Use a mobile work system to receive daily tasks
• Work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
• Pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age

Skills

• Proficiency with LaunchPoint software system

Pay

$24.50 - $32.00/hr

Schedule

Working independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, you will complete a route of locate requests each day. Overtime and on-call rotations may be required.

Note: This is a Safety-Sensitive DOT position that complies with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of Marijuana is prohibited.
