Position Overview
What You’ll Do
- Operate loaders, excavators, or skid steers to move and place pipe and materials
- Load and unload sewer and water pipe from delivery trucks
- Stage materials efficiently to support pipe installation crews
- Assist with setting pipe in trenches under direction of foreman or pipe layer
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow signals, and job site plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support crew with general labor tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating heavy equipment in utility or civil construction
- Knowledge of sewer and water pipe installation processes preferred
- Ability to read grade stakes and follow directions
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
- Reliable, team-oriented, and hardworking
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks when needed
- Sit and operate equipment for extended periods
