Loader Operator

About the role

The Loader Operator is responsible for loading vendor and Inter-Company haul trucks with specified amounts and types of aggregate. This role also involves maintaining stockpiles, ensuring proper mixing, and loading material into asphalt and concrete plants.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety policies and practices.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Operates front-end loader to load and transport raw material onto trucks.
• Maintains stockpiles of aggregate and recycled materials.
• Accurately loads production facilities with materials.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• One to two years of related experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Physical ability to perform light physical activity.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good judgment and common sense.
