Utility Lead

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Utility Lead to direct a team of Floor Techs that maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors.

Responsibilities

• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Complete any additional certifications or trainings needed by site type.
• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed; report any barriers.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of various floor types, including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Utilize specialized floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, burnishers, and vacuums to clean and maintain floors.
• Develop and follow floor care schedules for routine and deep cleaning, ensuring high-traffic areas are prioritized and well-maintained.
• Apply appropriate floor care products and chemicals, ensuring safety and compliance with product guidelines.
• Inspect floors regularly for signs of wear, damage, or staining, and perform necessary spot treatments or repairs.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of rooms for special events, ensuring floors are protected and cleaned afterward.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year of Floor Tech experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.

Pay

$21.00/hr. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM.

Location

Camino Del Sur exit off the 56 freeway.
