Building Utility

Description

Supports the B. U. G. Specialist in performing tasks in the housekeeping and cleaning of the maintenance area and other designated areas in the plant, along with any miscellaneous duties as assigned by department manager or any member of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management.
• Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors.
• Perform routine daily activities related to waste disposal, housekeeping.
• Affix the organization of maintenance area, housekeeping and cleaning assigned areas.
• Affix the day to day activities of any building, utilities, and grounds issues.
• Affix with construction projects as needed.
• Relay and promote departmental activities, SQF, safety and other issues.

Requirements

• Essential: Walking around facility, housekeeping, lifting/carrying items, climbing stairs.
• Marginal: Basic computer literacy, climbing ladder/scissor lift, etc.
