Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing a variety of production support functions throughout the facility while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods policies and procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties in support of production operations.
- Aid production departments by supplying materials, removing waste, and maintaining workflow.
- Rotate between workstations and departments as assigned.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production lines.
- Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Monitor work areas for safety hazards and report concerns to supervision.
- Assist with product handling, sorting, packaging, and rework activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment
This position is part of a production team supporting poultry processing operations. The successful candidate must be able to perform all job duties with or without a reasonable accommodation.
This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days.
