Key Responsibilities
- Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and follow hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Kitchen Support
- Aid with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.
- Clean out trash, clean floors, and ensure kitchen and storage areas remain clean and organized.
- Assist with basic food prep tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables, portioning items).
- Maintenance & Safety
- Monitor dish machine temperatures and cleaning chemicals to ensure proper sanitation.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
