What You’ll Do

• Perform regularly scheduled dishwashing shifts
• Return equipment & utensils back to storage locations for use
• Sanitize, organize, and maintain kitchen & bakery dish area, walk-ins, and storage areas to Co-op and health department standards
• Remove all trash and recyclable items to designated areas
• Avoid repairs and replacement needs by ensuring equipment is in clean and working order and advising supervisor
• Assist prepared foods team members as assigned
• Attend designated food service, store, and staff meetings
• Start each shift at your workstation, dressed appropriately and ready to begin
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor

What We’re Looking For

• Kitchen or food preparation experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and bakery environment
• Manual dexterity with hazardous equipment

Additional Information

• Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout shift, stand for long periods, and reach, pull, push, turn, stoop, and bend frequently during shift
• Position involves working a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
