About the Role

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Dishwasher/Utility Employee plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and guest‑ready operation by meeting high‑volume dishwashing demands and maintaining a clean, sanitized bakery. The employee embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manually wash, rinse, and sanitize all baking pans, dishes, utensils, and other tools in a thorough and timely manner while adhering to all NbC standards.
• Monitor sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Gather and remove garbage, sweep and mop floors, and clean floor drains.
• Perform routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler, and bathroom.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation; ensure cleaning supplies are prepared for the next shift.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Assist in unloading, processing, and storage of weekly supplies deliveries.
• Support other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents (operating procedures, health and safety rules), and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements

Applicants must be 17 years of age or older. No formal education or work experience is required, though previous experience as a dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant, or food‑service environment is a plus.

Work Availability

Shifts are available Monday – Friday, either 9:00 am – 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Employees at a franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.
