Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment
• Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanitizes containers as needed
• Sweeps, mops, and foams kitchen floors
• Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving areas
• Maintains cleanliness of all floor mats
• Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all food carts
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish room
• Does regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment including oven and ranges
• Assists in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed
• Assists in setting up buffets and special functions events
• Acts as runner backing up food trays and dishes for buffets and special event functions
• Assists in kitchen when necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned
